Spatial Data 2023
Spatial Data is the annual international scientific conference organized by Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography (MIIGAiK) with the partner participation of leading industrial companies, federal control authorities in the field of spatial data.
Objective
The goal of the conference is to form an international platform for scholars and researchers from various scientific fields using spatial data as unique characteristics of objects and phenomena of the surrounding world.
Earth Sciences
The Earth sciences have served the basis to invent technologies that have rapidly changed our lives, ideas about planetary phenomena and space. This event provides the opportunity to present the solutions of highly topical issues concerning a wide range of innovations in collecting, developing and analyzing spatial data and to introduce this to a great number of specialists and other stakeholders from all over the world.

Conference participation is free.
If you register for online participation, you will receive an email link to join the conference after April 30, 2023.
Your participation in the conference can be both in Russian and in English, it depends on you personally.
Publication in the scientific journal "Spatial Data: science, research and technology" is also possible both in Russian and in English.

Your registration is confirmed:
- After you have filled in the Speaker's registration form, you will receive a notification to the e-mail address specified during the submission. This does not mean that the abstracts of your report have been accepted. This means that the Organizing Committee has received your application and is ready to submit it to the Scientific Core Committee for consideration. In the incoming letter you will find out the terms for consideration of your abstracts and making a decision on them.
- After you have filled out the Guest registration form, you will receive a notification confirming to the e-mail address specified during registration. You are on the conference guest list.
Terms:
Conference participation is free.
If you register for online participation, you will receive an email link to join the conference after April 30, 2023.
Your participation in the conference can be both in Russian and in English, it depends on you personally.
Publication in the scientific journal "Spatial Data: science, research and technology" is also possible both in Russian and in English.

Contents:
- Describe the problem clearly enough for the audience to appreciate the value of your contribution.
- Aim your presentation at the audience that is not familiar with your research area so you communicate the importance of your work, rather than simply laying out the results.
Demo:
- Keep it simple so you don't distract from your research.
- Use at least 24-point type. So do not display full texts at the screen so that the listener should read rather than listen to you.
- Do not use a photocopy of a standard printed page as a display.
- Summarize your main points.
- Limit your material to eight lines per slide.
- Limit tables to four rows/columns.
- Display large tables as graphs.
- Avoid numerous curves on a graphical display.
- Label graphs clearly with big, readable type.
- Use easy-to-read fonts such as Arial.
- Use light letters on a dark background when displaying your material on an LCD screen.
- Keep a large margin on all sides of your slide.
Timing:
- Talk at a pace that everybody in the audience can understand.
- Practice your talk prior the conference.
- You will have 15 minutes to speak.

1.The journal is peer-reviewed and indexed in Russian Science Citation Index.
2. It is an international journal as well, so you can submit either a Russian or an English paper.
3. The author is responsible for the scientific material that it has never been published in any other journal or is submitted to more than one journal at a time.
3. Every article is published with DOI.
Requirements to the proceedings:

1. The full text of the article can be either in Russian or in English (professional translation), metadata are in both languages.
2. The volume of the article should be at least 10 pages, including all figures, tables, but not more than 15 pages..
3. The is a Rule: 1 author per 1 article (it means that 1 author can be mentioned only once in the entire journal to be published).
4. The structure of the article should be complied according to IMRAD type of the structure.
5. Reviewing of all papers is carried out by the members of the Conference Scientific Committee (having certain experience in the relevant field), reviewing is double-blind and carried out by two reviewers.
6. The Scientific Committee expertise the papers for plagiarism.
7. You are to prepare the paper within the announced period.
