About the conference
May 28–29, 2024, 10:00–17:00 (GMT+3), online
"Spatial Data: Science and Technology" is an annual international conference organized by the Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography (MIIGAiK) in collaboration with partners including leading industrial companies, research organizations, and federal regulators in the field of spatial data standards and requirements. This year marks the 245th anniversary of MIIGAiK, and the conference is held in honor of the university's founding day.
The goal of the conference is to consolidate scientists, researchers, and professionals from various fields of science and industry who utilize spatial data as unique characteristics of natural phenomena and the anthropogenic environment. Earth sciences serve as the foundation for creating technologies that rapidly change human life, its perception of planetary phenomena, and space. The International Conference "Spatial Data: Science and Technologies 2024" provides its participants with the opportunity to acquaint a wide range of specialists with modern directions in scientific research and solutions to current technological challenges in the collection, processing, and analysis of spatial data.
- Participation Form: The 2024 conference is conducted in an online format.
- Registration for presentations — until May 15, 2024.
Guest registration — until May 20, 2024. - Conditions:
• Participation in the conference is free of charge.
• Your presentation can be in either Russian or English, according to your preference. The language choice is made during registration.
• Publication in the scientific journal "Spatial Data: Science and Technology" is only possible in Russian. Please familiarize yourself with the publication process and journal rules. For any inquiries, you can contact the organizers via email: scidata@miigaik.ru.
- Please save the presentation file in *.pdf or *.ppt formats.
- Each presentation is allotted 15 minutes.
- Publication in a peer-reviewed scientific journal: – Founder and Publisher: Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography (MIIGAiK). – e-ISSN 2782-6678. – Indexed in: RSCI (Russian Science Citation Index). – All articles are assigned DOI. – Certificate of Media Registration: series El No. FS77-8555.

- Important! Articles must be submitted through a special form on the journal's website.
MIIGAiK
MIIGAiK is the only university in Russia that prepares specialists across the entire spectrum of profiled areas in geodesy, cartography, aerial photography, photogrammetry, optical instrument making, and geographic information systems. It is ranked in the top 10 educational institutions in this field, participates in the federal «Priority 2030» program, serves as a key university in the rocket and space industry, and is a member of the Space Science and Education Innovation Consortium of Roscosmos.
